Sell high on Gates? + general team advice
My team is hurting. Was thinking of selling Gates after his crazy day vs. the Seahawks, plus maybe Gordon or Welker to upgrade at RB or WR. Here's who I have now:

QB: Rivers, Big ben
RB: Charles, Stacy, Mathews, F. Jax, T. West
WR: Garcon, Colston, Jennings, Gordon, Welker
TE: Gates

Was thinking I could some midtier player like like Gerhart, Fitzgerald, White, Wayne, etc.

Also, will have first priority in waivers, enticing options are: Rainey, Pierce, Jeremy Hill, Donald Brown, Niles Paul

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

    This is a good opportunity if you can find a buyer. Just make sure you're gaining more points/game at WR than you're giving up at TE by going to a waiver guy (which probably isn't a huge drop).

    I'm thinking Rainey would be a good pickup. I could see him taking over the job even when Martin comes back.

    Before I'd trade Gates would have to know who you can replace him with. If Kniles Davis is available I'd pick him up first off waivers. Then stay tuned to the news and depending on what they say about Martin and look to pick up Rainey. or look to get D. Brown since Matthews is out multiple weeks.

    I was going to pick up Niles Paul, Travis Kelce, or Jermaine Gresham most likely. 12 man league, so the pickings are slim :/

    Kelce and Paul (heck of catch yesterday) are promising and in a 12 man league aren't going to be on waivers long. Agree with Dirk, good opportunity to see what you can get for Gates.
