Start Ertz over Gronk this week?
So after Julius Thomas torched them for 3 TD's is it a crazy idea to play Ertz over Gronk this week?

    Not that crazy, but Gronk is still the better play.

    Y.E.S. It is a CRAZY idea to do that. If you really believe Ertz is going to catch that many TDs then use him as your flex. But you are not to sit Gronk UNLESS you have an amazingly good reason. For example, I sat Gronk last week because I started Sanders (wanted a piece of the Bronco's offensive pie) and had Graham as my TE. Heck and even then, Gronk outscored Graham last week!

    right now I have R.Mathews or J.Bell at flex so I struggle to put a TE in over a RB at flex.

    Then you play Gronk! You drafted or added Ertz as a backup to Gronk. So if Gronk is playing, your backup sits. End of story. If you drafted Ertz to be an equal to Gronk, then you need to trade him for other pieces.

    I wouldn't touch Mathews this week against Seahawks, and as the early down back against Carolina Bell isn't that great a play either.
