Questions
Foster, Murray, L. Bell, Ball, or Bernard in the 1st?
In a 12-team keeper league with most elite running backs already spoken for, these are the best available RBs for where I'll be picking—4th overall—in the 1st. Just for some context, I kept Aaron Rodgers in the 2nd, and won't be picking again until pick 28.

I *could* select an elite WR like D. Thomas or Dez, but not sure I want to do that given the dearth of RB options left in 3rd round.

Advice?

Denver D has improven a great deal and I think they will smash a lot of teams meaning more carries for ball. I can't see him loosing many carries to the other 2 though unless he fumbles. Cowboys D is by far the worst in the league meaning they are going to throw it a bunch resulting in less carries for Murray. I can see Ball scoring 12+ TDs this year

Take Murray. Both Broncos and Cowboys will have RB committees, but Broncos will use 3 whereas the Boys will use 2. Murray is def a top 10 RB, but Ball is unproven/risky.

Broncos RB committee? What are you thinking, all they have is Hillman RB2.5 and CJ RB3 Ball is all in!!!

John Fox has always done it. Even last year Moreno had 241 carries, Ball had 120, and Hillman had 55. It doesn't matter who they have at RB. Know your coaches doof.

Ball will have more carries than moreno did last year. they had a committee last year because the back up (ball) was good. Hillman got carries because he was an above average pass blocker and was in the game.Broncos wont have a committee this year. ball is the 1st 2nd 3rd down and goal line back.

I don't think you understand either. Take a look at John Fox's offenses for the last 5 years. Every single year, there was a RB Committee. Don't trust your own assumptions when drafting, but more history. Murray was a top 10 back last year, Ball is still unproven. Murray is going late 1st to early 2nd round whereas Ball is going late 2nd to early 3rd in drafts. Move them both up a 1/2 round because this is a keeper league

Depends on scoring. In a PPR, Bernard may be the best option. Otherwise, I say go WR (provided you hacve a #1 RB). Quite frankly, I see lots of options like Rashad Jennings, Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles, Danny Woodhead providing a lot of value later in the draft.
Plus, WR is much more variable than RB after the top few. Having a Dez gives you an advantage at WR 1 every week unless you are playing megatron and maybe 2 other guys (like Green or Marshall). Ball doesn't provide the same advantage, although his upside is huge.
