-how many touches he has had over the last 2 years
-his cap hit next year is to high
-if they want to cut him next year they are going to want his replacement to get the ball more this to be ready for next year
-also they're going to want to keep him fresh for a playoff run. so that means less touches

i think its simply a matter of wear and tear and the talent lurking behind him could start to eat in his touches to give him more breathers

I know his back up is well liked and looks to be talented, but you have to think Lynch still goes into Beast mode around the goal line. He can still be a top back if he's getting enough touches and getting the cracks at the TDs.

that is fair, im just answering your question...that is why some that do rankings would put him on the do not draft list

I don't know much about how numberfire gets their articles, but these are from 2 different authors who may have very different opinions. FF is based on stats and numbers, but when it comes down to it you're basically trying to predict the future right? So I think some people say he's overworked, they're gonna not give him as many touches etc. My feeling is with the lack of depth at RB and the trend towards RB by committee you draft him if he is available. Is he a sure thing? Prob not. One of the analysts on ESPN the other day said any RB outside the top 4: Peterson, McCoy, Charles, Forte, is not a sure thing. But if I was looking for a RB in the latter first round and he was on the board I'll take him.
