Questions
Rate My (Late Round Quarterback) Draft?
I think by waiting on QB I got good depth at the other positions that most of my league mates sorely lack. Everyone had a QB (and 4 guys had picked backups!) by the time I took Rivers in the 7th. I had the last (12th) pick so all mine were back-to-back.
Our league is 6pt QB TD. We play w 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1WR/TE, K, DEF.

1 - Brandon Marshall
2 - A.J. Green
3 - Randall Cobb
4 - Frank Gore
5 - Pierre Thomas
6 - Toby Gerhart
7 - Philip Rivers
8 - Marques Colston
9 - Bishop Sankey
10 - Eric Decker
11 - Kelvin Benjamin
12 - Browns DEF
13 - Adam Vinatieri

I'm really regretting not taking Fred Jackson in the 6th/7th. I'm a little worried about my RBs in general actually.
This is the first time I've ever left QB so late and it feels weird having passed on the big 3 who were all available at my first picks. Any thoughts/criticism welcome.

If this is PPR, your RBs are better off than if it was standard. I just have no idea what Gerhart will do. Obviously WRs are your strength. I tried this strategy last year when I had a late 1st round pick with Dez and Megatron. If you can hit on one of your backs late, then it can definitely work. Otherwise, it'll be a long season.

Not PPR. I do need either Gerhart or Sankey to perform to RB2 standard or I'll be in trouble, I agree. I'm confident Frank Gore will perform adequately enough.

I like it. Your strength is obviously the WR spot. You can flex Cobb or Gerhart. Or you can always trade. You have stockpiled with enough WRs that you can make a trade and feel safe knowing that you are ok with the rest.

And BTW. I like RIvers in the 7th. Its a good spot for him to go. Especialy when you have guys in your league drafting their 2nd QB by that time.

Thanks! Actually I can't flex Gerhart because our league stupidly doesn't have a true flex spot, just a WR/TE. My plan is to go Cobb in the flex. Do you think I should be going Gore/Thomas as my RB1 and 2 then?

    your RB depth is concerning

I would say play Gore & Thomas unless

    unless....? :)

Unless Gerhart proves himself to be able to carry the load. Then you can use him or trade him. Gerhart and Sankey are both watch -and-see wiit high upside.
