Trade Advice
*UPDATE* He just offered me Marshall and CJ Spiller for Doug Martin and Gronk.

12-team standard scoring.
Start: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 D

My team:
QB: RG3
RBs: D Martin, F Gore, B Tate, T West, B Pierce, F jackson, L Blount
WRs: Julio, C Patterson, J Gordon, K Britt
TEs: Jimmy, Gronk
K: none
D: none

I chose to load up on RBs for trades instead of picking a kicker or D. Was approached by an owner who wants one of my TEs. Here's his roster
QB: Cutler
RBs: CJ Spiller, R Mathews, Moreno,
WRs: Demaryius, Marshall, Fitz, Boldin, B LaFell
TEs: G Olsen, Fleener
K: Hauschka
Ds: Rams, Chiefs

What do you think is a fair trade that helps me? I'm thinking Gronk and Fred Jackson (since he has Spiller) for Demaryius. I know I want to give more players than I receive so I can pick up streamers for K and D.

Greatly appreciate any advices or specific offers I should throw his way. Thanks!

I LOVE what you did here. Load up on talent and make people come to you. I love that you stacked the tem with RBs/WRs, got a late QB and didnt even worry about D/ST or K.

Next, forget about "fair". If he wants Graham or Gronk, make him pay. Its about perceived value. Gronk & FJax for DT makes sense if he values having an elite TE and the handcuff for Spiller.

After that, drop Blount to get either your Kicker or D/ST. The Tate/West combo and Pierce should be enough RB Bench for you. And for the WRs, I am hearing that Britt is the deep deep sleeper of the year. He is having a terrific camp. If Gordon plays half the year, you will have a legit top WR group.

What do you think of Gronk + Josh Gordon for DT?

I think it will be tough to get fair value here, unless you didn't list all his bench players, or unless he is willing to give away value. No chance in hell he gives away Demaryius, that is his best player. But give it a shot I guess. And you giving away Gronk for Marshall or Fitz would be beneficial for you, but you are losing the value side. But you need another starting WR, I am not sold on C Patt, especially as a starting WR2. Honestly I would take Marshall for Gronk (and he throws in Olsen) unless he has another bench guy you didn't list, that he can add. Toss in one of your fifty RBs to empty a bench spot. Perhaps Gronk/FJAX/Britt for Marshall/Olsen. Or since you can start 2 TE, and should dominate any opponent at both spots with the 2 best TE's, I would go find another trade partner for some of your RB to package with Josh Gordon for another WR1/WR2.

What do you think of Gronk + Josh Gordon for Demaryius?

I would do that. Demaryius is likely to stay healthy and score TDs. Gronk, who knows, and Gordon is likely suspended 8 games to a year. Since you have only 1 RB slot (weird), but a Flex, and a ton of RB depth, you can start any number of RBs at flex every week, while your 2 WR slots would be money. Only additional thought to consider is riding those 2 stud TEs as long as they are healthy, and you would dominate all opponents in those two slots, and pray Gordon comes back after 8 games to plug into that WR2 slot ahead of CPatt or Britt. But that is risky and we don't know A) what Gordons suspension is yet, and B) if Gronk will play all 16 games. If you're willing to gamble, stay put. If want to minimize risk, make the trade you proposed for DThomas.

Agree with everything you're saying. I'm willing to gamble on Gronk, but I'm also trying to pull off a mutlti player trade so I can add a D and kicker without dropping anyone.

I think BEAST MODE had a point above. Try finding someone else in your league that needs RBs. Package multiple RBs for one WR, this way you keep the top 2 TEs on your team.

Yea, just try and get one of those two WR's. You're a little thin at reliable wideouts, banking on julio/britt staying healthy and, patterson breaking out while fighting for targets.

You could consider tradinng Jimmy in a deal that gets you Olsen. He could play flex in a pinch, while being Gronk insurance and trade bait if a good deal roles along.

Try for Gronk/Patterson/FJax for Thomas/Marshall. He may not take it, depending on his thoughts on Gronk but it's worth a shot to upgrade your WR and get him some CJ insurance
