Questions
What do you think of this auction strategy?
So my idea was to not go over $30 at any position to build depth, my team ended up like this:
QB - Matt Ryan = $5
RB1 - Monte Ball = $27
RB2 - Reggie Bush = $24
WR1 - Antonio Brown = $25
WR2 - Percy Harvin = $14
TE - Gronkowski = $19
Flex - Toby Gerheart = $14
DEF - Cincinnati = $1
K - (a kicker) = $1
BN - Ryan Matthews = $17
BN - Frank Gore = $17
BN - Andre Ellington = $17
BN - Wes Welker = $12
BN - Jordan Cameron - $5
BN - Dwane Bowe - $1
BN - Dexter McCluster - $1

What do you think? My idea is to target as many usable runningbacks as possible and use them in the future for trading. I overspent on a bench TE so i could make sure that when gronk went down I had someone servicable as a backup, but the more i think about it the less i think i needed cameron.

Actually very good strategy. Sometimes, I've drafted 3-4 studs and then traded them for the two players I want the most. However, I really like this plan and I may use it in the future.

I like the strategy a lot, it's the same thing I do. You have amazing depth at RB, maybe too amazing? Instead of Mathews or Gore (Preferably Mathews) you need a WR. Maybe one with tons of upside? You would still have great RB depth, and improve on that WR depth. I'm not especially fond of Harvin.

Thanks for the input. I'm actually a big fan of Harvin this year, I just keep thinking back to 2012 when he was putting up WR1 numbers in mt WR2 spot.

love the strategy especially at rb. but you're right, you might not have needed cameron. However, you do need some form of insurance for gronk and i think cameron will have a great year. Worst case, you flip him with a rb for a upgrade if need arises
