Salvaging a Dynasty Auction on Impossible Budget
$200 Dynasty Auction--won the league last year, but had to spend $15 worth of this years draft dollars in order to get a season swinging trade done.

here's the problem: standard scoring, format is 1QB/2 RB/3 WR/1TE/1 Flex/1 DST...i made the (possibly insane) decision to keep Shady, Forte, and Antonio Brown for a combined $162. i can't reverse this decision, and my thinking was that all 3 of these players are still way under their Open Market Inflation Adjusted asking price (which KUBIAK confirms emphatically, particularly true given that people pay out the nose for top talent in this league).

now this leaves me with an $11 Max Bid to fill 1 QB, 2 WR, a TE, a Flex, and 6 Bench spots.

who do you think the targets are, and what's the optimal budget strategy? i was thinking that i would spend $1 each on TE, all bench spots, try to snipe Cutler for a max of $5, and then.....

any ideas?

You don't have a lot of options obviously, but yes, going cheap at TE and QB would be the way to go here.
