Questions
Should I trade Emmanuel Sanders for Fred Jackson?
I need some feedback. Thanks!

My Current Roster, 12-team league, Snake Draft: (FYI, I've done 5 trades already to get this lineup. I will explain below how I managed to get this kind of liuneup in a standard, non-PPR, 12-man league)

QB Russell Wilson, Sea QB
RB Jamaal Charles, KC RB K
RB Giovani Bernard, Cin RB
WR A.J. Green, Cin WR
WR Demaryius Thomas, Den WR
TE Dennis Pitta, Bal TE
FLEX Andre Ellington, Ari RB
D/ST Browns D/ST D/ST
K Graham Gano, Car K
Bench OPEN
Bench Terrance Williams, Dal WR
Bench Josh Gordon, Cle WR
Bench Dwayne Bowe, KC WR
Bench Terrance West, Cle RB
Bench Roy Helu, Wsh RB
Bench Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR

Here's how I did it - I was 5th pick in a 12-team league. Here’s how the draft went. RB Jamaal Charles (1st), WR AJ Green (2nd) , WR Jordy Nelson (3rd), RB Giovani Bernard (4th), RB Andre Ellington (5th), QB Russell Wilson (6th), WR Julian Edelman (7th), WR Terrance Williams (8th)………. My first trade was Jordy Nelson for DeMarco Murray. The guy was very weak at WR and RB heavy so it worked well for both of us. My second trade was DeMarco Murray for Montee Ball & Emmanuel Sanders. The guy was worried about Ball’s fumble issues and also his health so I took advantage of that. My third trade was Montee Ball & Julian Edelman for Demaryius Thomas. The guy is a believer in Ball and also Edelman this year. And BAM! That’s how I got my team.

Depends on how your team is built.
Risks: Sanders in new system vs. Jacksons age, injury potential, Spillers impact
Rewards: Sanders in Denver! vs. maybe Jackson becomes the Bills bell cow?

Thanks for your feedback. I was leaning more towards Jackson being the main back after the talk of the contract extension plus incentives. He'll make all of this extra money if he gets 10 TDs, 1500+ yards, Make the pro-bowl, etc... Also, I understand that Buffalo likes to only use 2 backs at a time. If Spiller gets hurt or isn't performing, even more value goes into Fred.

I like sanders but you are DEEEEP at WR. Make the move, you can't have enough starting RBs. Nearly a no brainer especially with spiller's question marks.

NO lol Fred jackson might not even start this year where as Sanders could have 1000+ yards and 10+ td's...i'm a broncos fan and everything i hae hear about Sanders so far out of camp is that he was an upgrade over Decker so keep him

I really like Sanders, too. He has the tools to make magic happen in Denver BUT how much can he do with 3 other guys catching the ball ahead of him OR if Manning goes down with an injury....

I also really like sanders but your himer bias is getting in the way.

Is this a dynasty league or something? I don't know how you get a top 3 RB and 2 top 4 WRs in a regular draft. If it is a dynasty league you risk losing out on the long term value of Sanders since he is a young guy and could have prolonged success in Denver, while only getting a RB who probably only has 1 solid year left in him. In that case I don't know that I do that trade, maybe for a younger back

If this is a redraft league then yes, make the trade. Your RB depth is very suspect (starters are great, outside of that it doesn't look good). Since Ellington and Bernard are the shifty, smallerish types of back that tend to get hurt with increased workloads (see Spiller, Bush, etc.) it would help to have a solid guy behind them

long term value is diminished by the pending retirement of manning. he only has a year or 2 left in the tank. Osweiler is painfully average.
