Trade Help (DJax, Torrey & Sankey for Cobb, Joique & Josh Gordon)
I am proposing DJax, Torrey & Sankey for Cobb, Joique & Josh Gordon

I am looking to improve at WR, so basically I am looking to trade up from DJax and Torrey for Cobb. Joique for Sankey is kind of a nothing to me - Sankey is my RB4 and it seems he may be in more of a time share than I had hoped when drafting him. Gordon is there to just make up numbers in the trade - but I have been hearing some positivity around his appeal, so maybe its a good time to buy low?

Also, if I make the trade and it Gordon's appeal is unsuccessful, I would likely pick up Rueben Randle.

    Your stable of RBs make this deal possible. I'd do it. If (and it's a big if) Gordon wins his appeal, you're golden.

    Yeah. I'd completely written him off (and the whole league has been mocking the guy that drafted him), but it seems like there is increasing positivity. After the Ray Rice only got 2 games, I guess I don't know any more. I feel like I'd probably make the deal without Gordon, but if he gets off it becomes great for me.

    I'm a big fan of all 3 guys your giving up so I'm more inclined to say don't do it but you need help at WR so I say go for it reluctantly.

    Yeah. I think they all COULD have big years. I am just worried that I have too many question marks (and that extends to Maclin, Hopkins, Kaepernick, and my other RBs) so could use someone that seems more certain. I am scared to have to rely on VJax and DJax every week - seems like a recipe to destroy some weeks and then blow others.

    So it's a risk between getting the appeal news, hearing that Josh Gordon is suspended, and losing out on Torrey Smith or getting Josh Gordon without a suspension and basically plucking him away from a nervous fantasy owner?

    I say if you're set at WR and can pick up Randle and Sankey/Bell are useless to you, go for it. These are probably the only circumstances I would feel ok trading for Josh Gordon at this time.

    My WRs are VJax, DJax, Torrey, Maclin and Hopkins. I want to get a top level WR, because I think that there are many options for backup / breakout WRs, but only a few sure things (so I am happy to give up the extra depth of having Torrey to get Cobb instead of DJax). My RBs are Forte, Murray, Gio, Sankey and a bunch of backups, so although I think I'd rather have Sankey, I don't think it makes a big difference to my team.

    Josh Gordon is only a tiny part of why I want to make the trade - I am trying to get him added in as a free option with huge (if unlikely) upside
