QBBC Combo Options?
One of the draft strategies I'm looking at this year is waiting on a qb and going QBBC. Any excellent QB combinations that I should look out for late round ? Example: Tony Romo/Jay Cutler, Andy Dalton/Philip Rivers, etc

Even just Romo would be fine, he's a top 10 QB every year and has some great weapons this year

    Romo/Rivers
    Romo/Cutler
    Cutler/Rivers

Don't know if I'd put in Dalton on a QBBC, but that would depend on who the other QB was. I think Big Ben deserves to be in that conversation as well. Seeing Palmer and Tannehill as well, but that depends, again, on who else you're targeting. But the first three I listed are all in offenses that should be very productive fantasy-wise

If you go with RG3 or someone high-risk, then drafting a cutler-romo type backup would make sense. But I wouldn't wait to draft a QB, then waste consecutive picks on it. If you get cutler/romo, why bother drafting the other immediately after instead of a sleeper at WR/RB/TE?

I think in general, it's a mistake to wait on a position then spend consecutive picks on it, limiting your depth at the other positions. If you get someone with a high floor (cutler/romo), maybe wait and snag palmer or tannehill in a very late round or on waivers.

Short answer, if you want 2 fringe-starters, I'd get one with high-upside (RG3, Tannehill?, etc), and one high-floor. That way you're managing risk.

so a cutler/palmer combo would be good to u ? and I would do that cuz I would be bolstering all my other positions with the picks before that

And how does Tannehill have upside...?

RE: Tannehill, I put a question mark there for a reason, but their o-line should not be swiss cheese this year. Also he's still really young and has done certain things well (read PFFs summary on him). There's not going to be great upside-QB options around the last round, but you can make somewhat of a case for Tannehill.

Yea I would be very happy coming away with that. If you like cutler & romo and both are sitting there, I'd wait until one gets snagged then grab the other (unless you're worried others are following your strategy). You definitely don't want to reach for one of them though.
