Keeper options?
I have 3 options for a keeper; Brees, Calvin Johnson, and Nick Foles. I lose my first round pick if I keep DB or CJ and only the 9th pick if I keep Foles. This is a 10-team league. Any suggestions on who I should choose as my keeper?

I'll lose my first round pick, but the second round will swing back my way in just a few short picks. Brees will be long gone, but I might be able to grab Foles further down in the draft.

0Kacee Giger (624 Reputation Points)Unless this is a 2 QB league, I would never waste a 1st round pick on Brees or any other QB. I would probably go with Calvin Johnson unless you know you're picking near the top of the first round and expect one of the elite RB's (McCoy, Charles, AP, or Forte) to still be available. I just can't get excited about keeping Foles in the 9th--there really is no other options?1 Comment↳G M (391 Reputation Points)Thanks Kacee. It's a 1qb league and my draft order should be around the 8th pick. Anticipating the picks and other's keepers, I expect the top RBs to be gone, but would expect one of the top 5 WRs to still be available. The only reason I am considering Foley is because I expect 8 of the other 9 guys to probably lose their 1st or 2nd round picks to our keeper rule. If Foley could have a good year, I'd feel good being able to have both my 1st and 2nd round picks available. I'm just afraid their aren't enough elite players out there for me to gamble. Brees is tough to let go since he's killed it for the last few years - but then, so is Calvin...
