Each of the teams in the NFC West have re-stocked their defenses, and are in the top 6. I worry about each starting back in the NFC West (Lynch, Gore, Ellington, Stacy) and feel they are all being taken a round too early. Go with Martin and hope he stays healthy.

Doug Martin for sure but the two players aren't equally ranked. Martin is def ranked higher for a reason but you can get Ellington later and he still has high upside.

Hampster but nothing wrong with taking a receiver in his place and then grabbing Ellington in the next round

It sounds like a copout, but it depends on what it costs. All things being equal I would say Martin. Experience is the main factor. Martin has carried the load before while Ellington hasnt. And Lovie Smith is traditional. I see Martin as late 2nd -early 3rd Rounder and Ellington as a 4th rounder. Personally, I wouldn't reach for either.

Even factoring price, I'd still go Martin. I don't think Ellington will get near the workload Arians promised. I know people have been freaking about the addition of Sims and Tedford splitting carries, but Martin is still the most talented back on TB. They're D should improve and i think he'll have more than enough carries to be drafted as an RB2.
