Questions
Where would you draft Rashard Mendenhall?
He's off the PUP list, but it looks like he's not going to be playing until October. Where does he sit for you?

I think he has the potential to be a nice late round flier. Redman has proved to be injury prone this pre season and Dwyer has not proven that he can carry the load quite yet. I saw Mendenhall at camp last week and he is in great shape. The playoffs are what counts and he could be a nice RB2/Flex player around that point

I could not draft him at all. In my eyes he has no upside.

I would echo the other sentiments. My main $ league has deep benches, so I would likely look at Mendenhall with my last pick or two and hope he has 1 good game once back and see what trade value might exists with mid season injuries. Caveat, my league is active with trades. If you don't know your league or shallow benches I'd pass. - also unless something big changes Pitt O-line has been terrible last 1+yrs so that another strike for a not too exciting player with minimal upside.

I would take him sometime after 11 or 12 and here's why, they will NOT be playing him the first few weeks, maybe even until week 6, when he's healthy. I would draft him and sit on him. The second half of the season he could be a fresh RB to add to the mix in a field of wounded players. If this preseason is any sign of what is it to come, RB's will be scarce.

Sidenote: If someone drafts Mendy, don't get silly and drop him after a few weeks, you will be doing the work for someone else in your league. He's a handcuff for the second half of the season.

I wouldnt at all. I had him my league last year and he didnt really produce for me. Redman was increasing taking snaps from him in the latter part of the season stealing away all his Rushing TD points. If reports come out that he will remain the starter around week 5 I would take him off waivers, but if nothing else he WILL be around in the later rounds.

I wouldn't. He'll probably be on the waiver wire for a while. He's expected to miss at least 6 wks. If you take a chance on drafting him, it would have to be in the later rds when your roster is completed & you use a bench spot. Just make sure you have proper depth before drafting Mendenhall. Don't reach too high

With Dwyer looking impressive in the preseason it's hard to give some value to Mendenhall. I seriously doubt he's the starter when he is healthy. I'm going to put his value in the 11th round for me.
