2013 Keeper RB Stash
I'm in the playoffs, and only playoff teams can make waiver/FA moves. It's a keeper league (keep 2 drafted in 4th round or later), I'm thinking of stashing an RB as a speculative move for 2013 (since I have no obivous keepers on roster). I'm considering:
Chris Ivory - he is a Restricted FA but could move and be lead RB on a team.
Kendall Hunter - always seems to have monster talent, stuck behind aging Gore
David Wilson - monster talent, but stuck behind Bradshaw AND Brown
Jacquizz Rodgers - decent talent, stuck behind Turner
Others: Jahvid Best, Cedric Benson
I have Bryce Brown and Leshoure on roster already
I'm leaning Ivory, since he showed talent and if things fall into place he could be #1 RB on a team. After that, Hunter and Benson also since they could be #1 guys in 2013. I love Wilson but he's so buried.
Should I bother with any of these guys?
Rodgers, Benson, Wilson, Hunter, Ivory, Best
ATL loves Rodgers and he is already getting more snaps than Turner. Benson is a sure starter when healthy. Wilson has the most upside out of anyone there, most likely, but he is buried like you said. Hunter will continue to get carries and Gore is aging. Ivory has been off and on the Saints roster and no one scooped him; I don't think he'll ever be a starting back in the NFL.
