Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) carted off field, C.J. Beathard takes over for 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo exited early from Sunday's game versus the Kansas City Chiefs after injuring his knee in the fourth quarter.
Garoppolo stayed in bounds and ran into contact on the sideline instead of stepping out of bounds, resulting in him taking a big hit from cornerback Steven Nelson. He was carted off of the field with his left leg held straight, showing the possibility of an ACL injury. C.J. Beathard took over at quarterback for the 49ers.
numberFire's models projected Garoppolo for 20.7 FanDuel points and he finished with 22.3 in Week 3.
