Saints’ Benjamin Watson in ‘prime of his career’
New Orleans Saints tight end Benjamin Watson “still looks like he’s in the prime of his career,” writes Joel Erickson of the New Orleans Advocate.
The 37-year-old tight end has made "eye-popping, contested catches" a regular thing in his return to the Saints, who the veteran was with from 2013-2015. Watson doesn't have much competition at tight end in New Orleans, so he figures to see the majority of the snaps.
Watson rounds out the top-20 tight ends in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to catch 49.2 passes (68.8 targets) for 463.7 yards and 3.60 touchdowns in 2018.
