Jamaal Williams suffers slight ankle injury in Packers' preseason game
Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams suffered an ankle injury during the team's second preseason game on Thursday.
Williams drew the start for the second game in a row before limping off in the second quarter. The second-year back couldn't say whether he would have been able to return if it were a regular-season game, but there isn't any concern about a long-term injury. Green Bay intends to use a committee approach in the backfield this season.
Williams is the RB38 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings, and our models expect him to total 518.6 yards and 3.91 touchdowns on the ground, with another 212.4 yards and 0.76 scores on 21.8 catches.
