Richard Sherman cleared for start of 49ers training camp
San Francisco 49ers defensive back Richard Sherman (Achilles) has been cleared for the start of training camp.
What It Means:
Sherman will practice on Thursday for the first time since rupturing his Achilles in Week 10 last season. The 30-year-old corner also underwent surgery to remove bone spurs earlier this offseason but remains on track to be ready to roll for Week 1 in his first season out of Seattle.
numberFire's models project Sherman to turn in 65.2 tackles with 1.3 interceptions and 6.9 pass deflections this season.
