Browns name Tyrod Taylor starting quarterback for 2018
Cleveland Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor will be the starter for 2018, head coach Hue Jackson said Thursday.
"He's going to be the starting quarterback," Jackson affirmed. "There is no competition." Taylor will open the year under center, but if the Browns draft a quarterback first overall, then there will likely be calls for the rookie to take over at some point during the season.
Tyrod averaged 14.6 FanDuel points in 15 games (14 starts) last season, with 2,799 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. He added 427 yards and 4 scores on the ground.
