Austin Seferian-Jenkins turned down Jets' two-year, $8 million offer
Free agent tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins recently turned down a two-year, $8 million deal offered by the New York Jets.
The offer wasn't what ASJ wanted in the way of guarantees. However, the two sides are expected to get back to contract talks and "work something out." Bringing the 25-year-old back makes a lot of sense for a Jets team in need of dynamic playmakers.
In 13 games, Seferian-Jenkins hauled in 50-of-74 targets for 3 touchdowns and a career-high 357 receiving yards in 2017.
