Patriots' Rob Gronkowski (concussion) officially cleared for Super Bowl
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has officially been cleared to play in Sunday's Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Prior to today, Gronk had yet to be cleared of the league's concussion protocol. But it looks like he'll be speaking to the media today, announcing another step toward his return to the field. With him in there, the Patriots will be at full strength for Sunday's big game.
In 14 regular season games, Gronkowski hauled in 69 passes for 1,084 yards and 8 touchdowns. He's projected for 2.4 catches, 29.5 yards and 0.35 touchdowns in Super Bowl LII.
