Alex Smith totals 400 yards in Chiefs' loss
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith completed 31-of-45 passes for 386 yards in the Chiefs' Week 4 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Smith's 386 yards were a career high, but somehow he didn't throw for a touchdown, which put a low ceiling on his fantasy contributions. He also didn't toss an interception and absorbed five sacks, adding 25 rushing yards. Kansas City settled for a whopping seven field goals in this one, losing 36-21.
Smith finished the day with 4.37 Passing Net Expected Points. He has a superb matchup in Week 5, getting the Chicago Bears in a home game. We have him projected for 3,043 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 picks the rest of the way.
