Jared Cook tops 100 receiving yards for Raiders in Week 7 win

Oakland Raiders tight end Jared Cook caught 6 passes on 7 targets for 107 yards in Thursday's Week 7 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

What It Means:

The catches and yards both represent season-highs for Cook, with the latter actually being the third-highest output of his nine-year career. He almost added his second touchdown of the season, but wound up being ruled down at the half-yard line. Through seven games, Cook is up to 27 catches on 41 targets for 316 yards and a touchdown as the Raiders shift focus to a Week 8 road matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Cook scored 13.7 FanDuel points in Week 7 after our models projected him for 6.0, and he's now averaging 7.0 FanDuel points per game this season. Per numberFire Live, he also finished with 13.12 Receiving Net Expected Points, meaning a league average tight end would have scored 13.12 fewer points than Cook did if put in similar situations.
