Teddy Bridgewater (knee) expected to practice Wednesday for Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings plan to activate quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) from the PUP list and have him return to practice on Wednesday, reports ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
Bridgewater was cleared to practice on Monday and all reports indicate he's ready to go for a Vikings team that finishes Week 6 at 4-2 and tied for first place atop the NFC North. Sam Bradford may be facing a career-ending knee injury and Case Keenum isn't viewed as a playoff-capable quarterback, so while it seems highly unlikely, Bridgewater could possibly be under center as early as Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Bridgewater last played in the NFL in 2015, where he threw for 3,231 passing yards with 14 touchdowns and 9 picks. He earned 48.47 Passing Net Expected Points that season, meaning a league average quarterback would have scored 48.47 fewer points than Bridgewater if put in similar situations.
