Patriots' Tom Brady: Danny Amendola is 'uncoverable'
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said on Wednesday that wide receiver Danny Amendola is "uncoverable."
Brady spoke highly of Amendola by saying, "He's had such a great year. I can't say enough good things about everything he's meant to our offense." He would know as much as anyone, and the stats don't lie. Through four games, the 31-year-old has produced 267 yards and a touchdown on 23 catches.
So far this season, Amendola ranks 3rd among Patriots pass-catchers with 27.6 Net Expected Points. In this week's favorable matchup against the New York Jets, we project him for 3.6 catches (4.1 targets), 57.4 yards and 9.7 FanDuel points at a price of $6,100.
