Danny Amendola manages 8 catches in Patriots' Week 5 win
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola secured a season-high eight catches in a 19-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday night.
With Rob Gronkowski (thigh) ruled out for Thursday's contest, many probably expected Dwayne Allen to see more work for New England. But that just wasn't the case, as Amendola seized the opportunity in a big way. As he logged a season-high 55 snaps, Amendola caught all eight of his targets.
We had Amendola pegged for 3.4 catches, 48.7 yards and 9.3 FanDuel points this week, but he surpassed those projections with 8 catches, 77 yards and 11.7 FanDuel points at his $6,000 price tag.
