Vikings' Jerick McKinnon projected to trail Latavius Murray in Week 5 carries
Minnesota Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon is projected for 8.0 carries against the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
As the Vikings look to replace or replicate the production of the injured Dalvin Cook (knee), Latavius Murray is likely to get more early-down and receive the majority of carries. He had seven carries to McKinnon's two last week, and he is listed as the top back on the Vikings' official depth chart. But McKinnon might provide a better value as a dual-threat option.
At $5,800, we like McKinnon to add 3.7 catches and 18.8 receiving yards to his projected 28.4 rushing yards. With that, his projected output of 8.8 FanDuel points falls just shy of Murray's (8.9), while Murray will run you $200 more on this week's slate.
