Broncos' Jamaal Charles sees dropoff in snaps heading into Week 5
Denver Broncos running back Jamaal Charles was on the field for just 11 snaps in Week 4.
Upon the return of fellow running back Devontae Booker, Charles was still the Broncos' number-two back, but not by much. As C.J. Anderson played 69% of the running back snaps, Charles got 17% and Booker 12%. Clearly, Booker ate into Charles' time and could continue to do so as the season goes on.
Charles still managed 33 yards on 5 rushes, and 14 yards on 1 catch, against the Oakland Raiders. He will be on bye for Week 5, as he and the Broncos prepare for a matchup with the New York Giants in Week 6.
