Dolphins acquire Stephone Anthony in trade with Saints
The Miami Dolphins acquired linebacker Stephone Anthony from the New Orleans Saints in exchange for an undisclosed 2018 draft pick.
In 2015, Anthony was the 31st overall pick out of Clemson. Since then, he's struggled in his two years with the Saints. He made 111 tackles and a single sack in his rookie year, but then followed that up with just 16 tackles in 12 games a year ago. He's worthy of what is probably a late-round price for a Miami team in need of linebackers and defensive help. But Anthony will have to get over a high-ankle sprain before playing his first snaps with his new team.
When Anthony returns, we project him to tally 76.3 tackles, 1.66 pass defenses and 0.12 sacks this season.
