Seahawks' Richard Sherman (hamstring) expected to play Week 2 against 49ers
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) is expected to play Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Head coach Pete Carroll said as much on Friday, so this is not a surprise despite Sherman sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Sherman's presence is a big downgrade for the likely success of 49ers wide receiver Pierre Garcon, although the volume of targets should still be there.
Our models project Garcon for 10.45 FanDuel points at a salary of $6,500 in Week 2. We peg him for 4.9 catches that should go for 63.5 yards and 0.3 scores. The Seattle defense is our second-best fantasy option this week, with a projected 10.15 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,400.
