Josh McCown not worried about Jets' rough Week 1

New York Jets quarterback Josh McCown and head coach Todd Bowles say they aren't concerned about the team's poor offensive performance in a 21-12 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.

What It Means:

It should be noted that a large chunk of the Jets' skill players just got to the team during training camp, and McCown touched on that. “I think we’ll get better as they learn the offense more,” McCown said. “Shoot, those guys got here five days ago and they had some explosive plays in our game." It will be another tough game in Week 2 for New York, as they travel cross-country to play the Oakland Raiders.

McCown had a below-average showing in Week 1 with just 11.48 FanDuel points thanks to a rushing touchdown late in the third quarter. This week, we project him for 231.2 passing yards, with 1.3 touchdowns and 0.7 interceptions. Our models have him at 14.1 FanDuel points against Oakland, which makes him our 26th-ranked fantasy quarterback in Week 2.
