Jets' Josh McCown unlikely to stay healthy all season
New York Jets quarterback Josh McCown has missed time due to injury in each of the past three seasons.
McCown made it 11 games while with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2014 and then he dressed for a combined 13 games over the past two seasons with the Cleveland Browns. Considering his age (38) and injury history, it would be one of the bigger surprises of the entire season if the journeyman quarterback is able to remain active for all 16 games. McCown will make his Jets debut on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Bryce Petty is next up on the Jets' depth chart.
numberFire's metrics project McCown for 206.1 passing yards with 0.85 touchdowns and 0.8 interceptions in Week 1 versus the Bills, making him the QB29 in our weekly fantasy rankings. He's tabbed for 11.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,600.
