What It Means:

Unger underwent foot surgery back in May and this was his first time practicing with the team since the surgery. He was still limited, but it's a good sign that the team is comfortable with him playing in the preseason. Unless there is a setback, it looks like he is on schedule in his return. This is good news for Drew Brees and the New Orleans offense.
