What It Means:
As much as the #DeflateGate pitchfork crowd had hoped for a swift reckoning on New England Patriots' quarterback, the whispers inside the league were that the suspension wouldn't hold. It appears the Steelers were preparing for just such a scenario, and they will end up squaring off against Brady in Week 1 after all.
Even with Jimmy Garoppolo in, we had projected the Pittsburgh D/ST as the worst defensive unit option in fantasy football for Week 1. This only makes them an even less attractive proposition for their first game, as this aging unit should be run ragged by an angry Patriots' offense.
