Haloti Ngata

Lions' Haloti Ngata activated from active/PUP list

The Detroit Lions have activated defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (hamstring) from the active/physically unable to perform list.

What It Means:

Ngata has missed the entire preseason due to his hamstring injury, but he is now on track to play in the season opener against the San Diego Chargers. Ngata will look to replace Ndamukong Suh along Lions defensive front.

The Lions ranked 16th in our schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points metric last season. Our algorithms project Ngata to finish the year with 38 tackles and 3.0 sacks. We place the Lions as our fifth-ranked fantasy defense.
