Dolphins' Jarvis Landry expected to be red-zone threat

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry is expected to do 'a lot of damage in the red zone' this season, according to Dolphins beat writer James Walker.

What It Means:

Landry is currently slotted as the number one wide receiver on the Dolphins depth chart. He has totaled 6 receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown in two preseason games.

The Dolphins ranked 16th in our schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) metric last season. Landry ranked 33rd out of 40 wide receivers with at least 100 targets with a 0.57 Reception NEP per target last year. Our algorithms project Landry to finish the year with 74 receptions, 804 receiving yards, and five touchdowns.
