Buccaneers' Doug Martin looks like the 2015 version of himself
Tampa Bay Buccaneers suspended running back Doug Martin looks like "the Doug Martin of 2015," general manager Jason Licht said.
Everything has been positive coming out of Bucs headquarters on Martin, going all the way back to voluntary workouts. "He looks lean, he looks like he's finishing his runs -- obviously, there is no contact in the spring -- but it looks like he's finishing his runs," Licht said. "He looks like he's got that burst." By most accounts, Martin looks leaned out entering his sixth season, though he still has a three-game suspension looming to start the year.
Our models project Martin for 763 rushing yards and 5.58 touchdowns on 200 carries, adding 23 receptions for 182 yards and 0.60 touchdowns in 2017.
