Giants add Wayne Gallman to running back core with the 140th pick
The New York Giants selected Clemson running back Wayne Gallman with the 140th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
Gallman has mediocre speed with a 4.60 40-yard dash time, but he still earned first and second team All-ACC honors in his final two years with the Tigers. He is a liability in the passing game who will need to prove his worth to earn a role with the Giants in 2017.
Over three seasons at Clemson, Gallman rushed for 3,416 yards on 675 carries (5.1 yards per carry) with 34 touchdowns. He added two more touchdowns through the air with 486 yards and 66 catches in the passing game.
