Vikings underwhelming Adrian Peterson with offers

Free agent running back Adrian Peterson's father says his son hasn't felt "appreciated" by the Minnesota Vikings' offers, and that the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders are interested.

What It Means:

According to Peterson's father, the Seahawks and Raiders are both "for sure" interested, and he's intrigued by Oakland's offensive line. It was reported earlier this week that Peterson would be willing to take a discount to join the New England Patriots, but his father couldn't confirm whether those feelings were mutual.

There were 88 running backs to notch at least 30 rushing attempts last year. Peterson earned -0.39 Rushing Net Expected Points per attempt, by far the worst rate among that group.
