C.J. Anderson (knee) to return for Broncos in four weeks
Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is expected to be cleared from his meniscus tear in two weeks, reports Cecil Lammey of 104.3 The Fan in Denver.
The Broncos have no incentive to rush Anderson back at this stage of the offseason. He turned 26 just a few weeks ago and will likely have the early lead on starting duties over Devontae Booker in the Broncos' backfield heading into next season.
Anderson's Rushing Net Expected Points per carry ranked 16th-lowest among the 42 running backs to carry the ball 100 times or more last year.
