Darrell Bevell has Seahawks' full confidence
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said folks who criticize offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell "don't know what they're talking about".
This is a strong statement of support in Monday's season-ending presser. The 2016 Seahawks finished 12th in the NFL in yards but only 18 in points scored while dealing with league-worst offensive line play. Bevell would be easier to evaluate if his offensive line weren't so easily penetrated. Ultimately, the offense Bevell oversaw did reasonably well with what it had.
The Seahawks came in at 15th in opponent-adjusted Offensive Net Expected Points per play.
