Patriots unlikely to sit starting lineup in Week 17
The New England Patriots will not rest any starters Week 17 against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Bill Belichick implied.
"I don't understand that question," Belichick said. "I don't know how many starters we have." The Patriots could lose the AFC's top seed with a loss and Oakland Raiders win, and they have already locked up a bye. There is really not much reason for New England to sit anyone in one of two games this weekend in which both teams actually have something to play for, especially after what happened at the end of last season. Quarterback Tom Brady and company should play as normal on Sunday.
On just 27 passing attempts, Brady earned 14.95 Net Expected Points in Week 16, per numberFire Live.
