Robert Griffin III likely to get start for Browns in Week 14
The Cleveland Browns are widely expected to start quarterback Robert Griffin III in Week 14, ESPN's Pat McManamon wrote.
Head coach Hue Jackson has yet to name a starter, and McManamon's prediction comes with the caveats of "provided he makes it through practice" and "looks like he has shaken off three months of rust". It makes sense for the Browns to give Griffin a longer audition than he got early in the season. Even if Griffin gets the nod, the offense around him is too poor and the chance of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in the first-round of most leagues' fantasy playoffs.
Griffin's -0.33 Passing Net Expected Points per dropback rank dead-last among the 47 quarterbacks with at least 25 dropbacks on the season.
