Steelers' Sammie Coates playing with two broken fingers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Sammie Coates is dealing with two broken fingers, head coach Mike Tomlin acknowledged.
Coates has a broken ring and index finger on the same hand, likely explaining his lack of production. He said he'll continue battling through it, but the sophomore logged only two snaps in Week 10. Antonio Brown, Eli Rogers and Cobi Hamilton are the Steelers' top three wideouts. Coates doesn't need to be rostered in re-draft leagues.
Among the 74 receivers with at least 40 targets this season, Coates ranks 11th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
