Titans' DeMarco Murray undergoing MRI on toe
Tennessee Titans running back DeMarco Murray will undergo an MRI on his injured toe, head coach Mike Mularkey said.
Mularkey said he doesn't believe the injury is serious, so this is just a case of the team doing their due diligence. Murray left Thursday night's game late in the first half but returned after halftime and totaled 21 carries in the game. Second-round rookie Derrick Henry is next up on the Titans' running back depth chart, but the odds are still good it's Murray who suits up against the San Diego Chargers in Week 9.
Murray earned 2.71 Net Expected Points on his 21 carries in the game, per numberFire Live.
