LeSean McCoy

Bills pushing LeSean McCoy to be ready for Week 7

The Buffalo Bills are "trying to push" running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring, questionable) to play in Week 7 at the Miami Dolphins, ESPN's Josina Anderson reports.

What It Means:

On Thursday, Anderson had a "well-placed source" saying McCoy wouldn't play against the Dolphins and might miss multiple weeks. McCoy's hamstring woes last season haunted him throughout training camp and lingered into the season. It does not seem to be the prudent move for the Bills to "push" their star running back to play through a hamstring injury.

Our models account for McCoy missing Sunday's game, and Gillislee is our 15th-ranked running back for the week. We project him for 13 carries, 57 yards and 0.38 touchdowns.
