Brandon Flowers (concussion) has not returned to Chargers' practice
San Diego Chargers cornerback Brandon Flowers (concussion) has yet to resume practicing.
He appears poised to miss his third straight game on Thursday. With Flowers and Jason Verrett out last week, the Oakland Raiders' Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree combined for 185 receiving yards and two touchdowns on nine catches. Denver Broncos' wideouts Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders will be running relatively free in San Diego.
Despite the recent woes against wide receivers, the Chargers' secondary has put up the 12th-best schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points per play through Week 5.
