Bills remain undecided on Sammy Watkins playing Week 4
Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan said Monday he "can't say" whether wide receiver Sammy Watkins (foot) will be ready for Week 4 against the New England Patriots.
Ryan described the Bills as still being in "wait-and-see" mode regarding their assessment of Watkins' availability. The Bills will make a decision later in the week based on how the receiver is feeling, but this could come down to a game-time decision. Watkins' injured foot was stepped on by a teammate last week.
Watkins has recorded 0.53 Reception Net Expected Points per target in the two games he was active. Entering Week 3, that placed him 55th among the 76 receivers to see at least 10 targets.
