Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert (ankle) is doubtful for Week 3 against the Denver Broncos.
What It Means:
The plan was always for Eifert to return somewhere after Week 4, and it looks like the Bengals will stay on script by keeping him out another week. C.J. Uzomah will draw another start Sunday, but Tyler Kroft will cannibalize some of his looks.
Uzomah and Kroft both fall in at fantasy TE3 status for Week 3. We project Kroft for 26 receiving yards and 0.20 touchdowns on 3 receptions, and Uzomah for 26 receiving yards and 0.17 touchdowns on 2 catches. Neither has standalone value outside of extremely deep leagues.
